Writing at Bedtime
Updated: Aug 27, 2019
I bet you are wondering where I came up with such an amazing title for this post. Well, as it happens, it’s bedtime for me right now (much earlier than usual but I am actually currently in bed) and I am indeed writing. Isn’t that amazing? I’m a genius! What will I think of next?
It’s a damn good thing nobody is paying for this drivel. I have a feeling that I would be in a lot of trouble right about now.
And speaking of amazing, this could be yet another post where I go on and on about how I don’t know what the heck I’m doing with this blog. This is very quickly becoming the Seinfeld of blogs. It’s in grave danger of turning into a blog about nothing. Well, not nothing, but a blog about how to do a blog without the blogger ever actually coming to any conclusion.
You know, if I could actually pull that off, that might be a thing. Has it been done before? I don’t know. I’m really not that interested in finding out whether or not it has been done before. I don’t think it has. And no, I’m not going to be the first person to do it. I think this has gone far enough.
I’m not saying that a return to randomness in the future is not in the cards. It probably is. I can totally see myself gassing on and on about nothing in particular in the future. But tomorrow’s post is actually going to be about something. I’m actually going to address a subject and offer information on that subject. This is mind-blowing. It really is. I’m not saying that the subject I’m going to talk about tomorrow is mind-blowing, just the fact that I’m actually going to talk about a subject tomorrow. That’s the mind-blowing part. Wild.
But if I attempt to do a blog a day and I have to pick a new subject every day…that’s a heck of a lot of subjects. 365 per year as a matter of fact. That almost sounds a little daunting, doesn’t it? Not to mention writing a blog post every single day…that sounds a little daunting, too.
I actually think it’s doable. And I’m going to try and do it. Actually, I’m quite sure it’s doable. But is it doable for me? Am I biting off more than I can chew? I don’t think so.
But we shall see.
